Our Story
Founded in 2009, ProbioFerm began as a response to industry demand when a previous manufacturer closed. With a focus on quality and agility, we've grown deliberately, expanding our facilities and capabilities to serve a broad range of clients seeking dependable fermentation and manufacturing partners.
2009 Established with a 25,000 sq. ft. space for offices, lab, and production.
2011 Expanded 1,200L fermentation capacity and downstream processing.
2016 Added a 22,000 sq. ft. finished goods production facility.
2019 Completed a 9,000 sq. ft. fermentation plant with a 5,000L system and spray drying capabilities.
2022 Expanded 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Expanded R&D capabilities with in-house whole genome sequencing (WGS).
2023 Installed a 270 sq. ft. production freeze dryer.
2025 Expanded 2,000L fermentation capacity.
